Joan Clark September 17, 1929-March 23,2022
It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Joan Clark, nee Hotchkiss in her 93rd year. Joan grew up in Toronto, spent her youth on a farm in Lakefield and raised her family in Toronto. They then moved to Barrie where she they past 12 years. Joan was pre-deceased by her husband John, the love of her life for 68 years. Beloved mother Myrna (Gunn), Barbara (Durnin), John, Suzanne, Michael, and Mary. Grandmother of 9, great grandmother of 8.
Joan volunteered extensively in her community.
A funeral mass will be held at St. John Vianney 13 Baldwin Lane, Barrie at 11:30 with a Celebration of Life and reception at 1pm at Steckley Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley Street Barrie. In lieu of flowers, simply send a donation to a charity of your choice.
At the request of the family all guests must be fully vaccinated and masked during the mass and service.
