Peacefully, after a long, hard struggle, her spirit has gone on its next journey and her body can now be at peace. On December 31st 2009, at home at Coleman Care Centre, in her 81st year. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Dennis. Mom will be terribly missed by “the girls†- Bette (and partner Dave Snowdon), Anne (and husband Andy Ellison), and Cathy (and partner Chris Farrell). “Nanny†will be lovingly remembered by grandchildren Nicholas and Erin Jewell (and partner Al Falls); Michael (and fiancée Paula Kirk), Kimberly and Jennifer Ellison. Joan is survived by brother John Bush, and sisters Tina Peers (and Joe) and Margaret Derbyshire, all of Liverpool. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
