On Monday, December 7th, 2020 at the age of 82, Joan was reunited with her beloved husband Bruce. Joan was a loving mother to Lorrie Marchand (Raynald) of Ottawa and Tam Benoit (Steve) of Barrie, and dear grandmother to Sarah, Jordan, Sean, and Kelsey. Joan was an avid golfer and loved to play bridge. She enjoyed lots of laughs with family and friends over the years. Predeceased by her sisters Nellie and Barbara and her brothers Bruce and Bill, Joan will be fondly remembered by her sisters Glenna Smith and Shirley Dion (Bob) as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie. There will be an online celebration of Joan’s life on Sunday Dec 20, 2020 02:00 PM Eastern Time (US and Canada) Details to attend this online ceremony are as follows:
