WOOD, John Clifford
Passed away in his 93rd year at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie surrounded
by his family. Loving husband of Ruth (wife of 60 years), daughter
Catherine Wilson (Andy), son Greg Wood (Angela) and grandson Noah Wilson.
Former Director of Business Education at Barrie Central Collegiate
(1956-86). Scoutmaster at 2nd Barrie (1976-80). He authored several
textbooks about Consumer Education during his career which were used in high
schools across Canada. John was an avid canoeist for much of his retirement
and loved to garden and putter in the yard. Please join us for a reception at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Friday, June 1st from 11am-1pm. If desired, in lieu of flowers
