Peacefully at home with his family at his side on August 26, 2010 in his 73rd year. Beloved husband and best friend of Mary Lou (nee Lougheed). Loving father of Jane and Dan Readman. Randy and Andrea Stavinga. Beloved grandfather of John, Katie, Kyle, Kayla. Dear brother of Ted Stavinga and the late Pat Stavinga, and Martin and Vicky Stavinga. Dear brother in-law of Grace Lougheed and the late Larry Lougheed and Margaret Grise, and Gerald and Marj Lougheed. Loving uncle, cousin and friend to many. Will be forever missed.
