GROSS, John Nicholas, better known as “Jack” of Jack Gross Plastering, by those who knew and loved him. He was born on March 21st, 1932, in Toronto, Ontario. Jack peacefully passed away on June 16th, 2021 at the age of 89, at Hospice Simcoe. He is predeceased by his parents and was the last of his brothers and sisters. Jack married Solange "Sally" Laurin, who passed away April 1985, and together they had three beautiful daughters; Sharon, Anna and Debbie; who will dearly miss their father. Jack will be fondly remembered by his 11 grandchildren Michelle, Melissa, Tammy, Christian, Mandy, Jason, Jamie, Matthew, Amy, Meagan, his 24 great grandchildren and all of their families. Jack met and married Mary "Mollie", who passed away in August 2020. Together they spent their latter years travelling; British Columbia and Hawaii being amongst their favourites. Jack was a hard working self-made business man and entrepreneur who was best known for his fancy stucco ceilings, a lost talent. He loved to be outside fishing, hunting or tinkering in his garage. He was a loyal husband, friend and father; a brave, proud and protective man. A graveside service was held at St. Mary’s cemetery where Jack was placed to rest.
