Passed peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie on Friday, July 16, 2010 in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Ellen. Dear father of Patricia Thompson and her husband Jeff, and Peter and his wife Carolynn. Dear brother of Jim, Joe, and sister Catherine Marr. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his grandchildren Jared and Avery. Friends may visit at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley Street, Barrie on Tuesday from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Funeral mass will be held at St. John Vianney Roman Catholic Church, 13 Baldwin Lane on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
