SEWARUN, JOHN
Suddenly at his home on January 10, 2017, John peacefully passed away. He was survived by
his wife of 54 years, Marion Sewarun, son Chris (Melinda) Sewarun, daughter Stacey (Deryk)
Westervelt and his 5 loving Grandchildren, Cory Sewarun, Curtis Casserley, Dawn-Marie
Sewarun, Kayla Westervelt and Zoey Westervelt. He will be sadly missed by his very large
extended family both in Ontario and Cape Breton. A Memorial Gathering will be held at the
Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley Street, Barrie, on Friday, January 13th, 2017
from 11-1pm. Cremation has taken place. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart
and Stroke foundation in his honour would be appreciated. Big thanks to Essa Fire, OPP and
