Much loved father, grandfather and brother, Joseph (Joe) Goldie Harradine, age 89, of Barrie ON, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, Oct 24, 2018 at Royal Victoria Hospital Barrie ON. Born October 4, 1929, in Barrie, Joseph is survived by his loving children and their spouses Lisa (Harradine) and Bob Whalen, Scott and Ada Harradine, Kevin and Jennie Harradine, Louise (Harradine) and Ron Tostik, Marta (Harradine) and John Duivenvoorden plus grandchildren Jonah Whalen, Jesse Harradine, Emily (Harradine) Ransom, Zach Tomkinson, Travis Duivenvoorden, Mac Tomkinson, Hannah Harradine, Ben Duivenvoorden, Candice Tostik, Allison Harradine, Kaitlyn Tostik, Hailey Duivenvoorden and great grandchild Ariah Tostik. Also survived by siblings John Harradine, Kathleen (Harradine) Caney, Nancy (Harradine) Emms, Elva (Harradine) Bouchard, George Harradine and Alex Harradine.
A Life Celebration will be held Sunday October 28 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at The Barrie Royal Canadian Legion Branch 147 410 St. Vincent Street
(enter off Ferris Lane), Barrie, ON L4M 4A6 (705) 728-1412 in the
upstairs Banquet Hall.
The immediate family would like to take this opportunity to express a deeply heartfelt thank you to the staff and employees of RVH and in particular to those working 4th Floor Surgery 2 who showed our ‘pops’, and us, such amazing service, patience, support and professionalism during our fathers difficult 2 months under their watchful and so very compassionate eyes.
