Peacefully at Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, Ontario, on June 27, 2015. Josepha (Sophie) Stradeski of Barrie in her 90th year, predeceased by sisters Eva Smith of Barrie, Elizabeth Vickers of Brampton, brothers Donald of Vancouver, BC and Anthony (Tony) of Uxbridge, and parents Emilia and Anton Stradeski. Survived by brother Kenneth of Elliot Lake, sisters Marie Kozak of Kitimat, BC, Beatrice Straney of Victoria Harbour, Anne Griffin of London, Blanche Tinius of Eagle River, Alaska, nieces and nephews Cheryl, Brenda, Darlene, Arlene, Roxanne, Terry, Charlene, Tony and Kenneth and great nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Steckley Gooderham Funeral Home. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church, 65 Amelia Street, Barrie, Ontario on Friday, July 3 at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the RVH Regional Health Centre Advanced Cardiac Care Unit, or a charity of choice.
