Josephine Scott passed away peacefully at the Independent Order Of Odd Fellows Seniors Home in Barrie, Ontario on January 1, 2021 at the age of 86 years. Daughter of the late Grace and Joseph Leonard and predeceased by her sisters Mary and Alma. Beloved wife of Matthew Scott. Loving mother of Matthew (Rhonda), Tom (Helen), Karen (John), Jo-Anne (Kevin), Sheryn (David), and Michael (Darcy). Dear Grandmother of Matthew, Amanda, Steven, Denver, Kyle, Scott, Emma, Sophie, Amber, Daniel, and Nathan, and great grandma of Declan, Elaura, Rainna, and William. Josephine was a Military wife who at times raised her six children on her own for stretches of many months and one time for a full year in the 1960’s. This was not easy but she always supported scholastic and sports endeavours. She always said she loved us even if she didn’t like what we were doing. She will be missed by many including her extended family and friends. A video funeral will take place 8th of January 2021. In memory of Josephine donations may be made to the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
