Hogben, Joy
Peacefully, after a 25 year battle with cancer, at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, on Wednesday, October 8, 2013, in her 73rd year. Joy (nee Mullen), beloved wife of the late David T.A. Hogben. Loving mother of Steve Hogben (Denny) and the late Dave Hogben (surviving spouse Bonnie). Proud Grandma of Tyler, Derick, Callen, Carsen, Keaten, and Brienna. Cherished daughter of Gladys Mullen. The family would like to take this opportunity to thank her closest and dearest friends who were there at the end and always by her side. Also thank you to Dr. Pressnail and the entire RVRHC staff. Family and friends will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home 201 Minet's Point Road, Barrie on Thursday October 17th from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A celebration of life will be held on Friday October 18, 2013 at 11am with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.
