Passed away peacefully at Hospice Simcoe, Barrie on Thursday, November 29th, 2018 at the age of 93. A resident of Roberta Place Retirement Lodge in Barrie and formerly of Alliston, ON, Joyce had a wonderful life filled with work, travel, golf, bridge and a great many fun times. Beloved wife of the late Bob (2013) for 66 years. Loving mother of Brenda Carbone (Ross) and Joan Gilbert (Mike). Dear grandmother of Heather, Katrina and Natasha, and great-grandmother of Abigail and Luke. Survived by her sister Tillie Bertram. Private family arrangements have been entrusted to the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie. The family would like to take this opportunity to extend their heartfelt gratitude for the friendship and compassionate care at Hospice Simcoe.
