I'M NEVER REALLY GONE

Though we had to say goodbye,
dear loved one please stay strong.
For as long as you hold me near,
then I'm never really gone.

Remember me in happy times,
and all the laughs we shared.
For I lived a life so full of joy,
with blessings beyond compare.

Though I know that you are hurting,
please try to find a smile.
Know that I loved you dearly,
and I'll be with you all the while.

Carry my memory inside your heart,
and that is how I shall live on.
For as long as you hold me near,
then I'm never really gone.
