June passed peacefully with family by her side at the Grove Park Home in Barrie on October 19th, 2023 at the age of 91 years.

June’s family takes comfort in knowing that she is now free of dementia and that she is reunited with her husband of 57 years, Gerry Bouchard. June was predeceased by her parents Frank Moore and Brenda Stainton, as well as by her dear sisters Patricia McGuinty-Hosking (late Bernard and Norman) and Mary Paquette (late Roger).

June was the beloved mother of her daughters Paula Bouchard-Howe and Sandy Bobrow. She was a cherished mother-in-law to Kevin Howe and Nick Bobrow, and a wonderful grandmother to Matthew Howe, Devon Bobrow and Noah Bobrow. June will be forever missed and loved by her family.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff and volunteers at Grove Park Home for the extraordinary compassion and care provided to June.

A Funeral Mass will take place at the St. Mary’s Church, 65 Amelia St., Barrie on Saturday, November 4th, 2023 at 10 am. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie from 11-12:30 pm inside the lower lounge. There will be a time of Words of Remembrance at 11:30 am and all are welcome to contribute. In keeping with June’s wishes, cremation has taken place. An interment will take place in the future at the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery where June will be laid to rest alongside her late husband Gerry.
