Peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, February 10th, 2020 at the Hospice Simcoe in Barrie at the age of 61 years. Beloved mother of Nick (Manon), Rob (Tina), Anthony and Kristie (Steve). Proud grandmother of Franklin and Mic. Dear sister of Linda (Dave), Susan (Al), Michael (Barb) and Paul. Will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
Guests will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Sunday, February 16th, 2020 from 1:30 p.m. until the time of Service at 2:30 pm inside the Chapel. Immediately following the service, guests are invited to the Knights of Columbus Hall, 93 Berczy St., Barrie for a Celebration of Life. Donations in Soraya’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Hospice Simcoe and are greatly appreciated by the family.
