Passed peacefully and surrounded by her family at the Royal Victoria Hospital on Saturday, April 2nd, 2016, in her 49th year. Beloved wife of George. Predeceased by her father Andrew. Will be sadly missed by her mother Jean and brother Richard. Loving mother and best friend to her two handsome sons, Benjamin and James, who she proudly raised to manhood. Katherine was known by all for her smile and her laughter. She was always happy.
Friends and family are invited for a visitation at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Thursday April 7, 2016, from 5pm until 9pm. Service will take place at St. Nektarios Church at Penetanguishene Road and Highway 11, Barrie, at 11 am with interment to follow at Crown Hill St. James Cemetery.
