STECKLEY, Eleanor Grace - Passed away suddenly at her home in Barrie on Friday, March 18th, 2016. Eleanor (nee Ratz) of Barrie in her 77th year. Beloved wife of Keith Steckley. Dear mother of Jim and Joanne Brisco and grandmother of Malcolm and Ashley. Loving stepmother of Jami, Jeff and John. Loving step grandmother of Nicole, Jacob, Travis, Jesse, Josh and Brianna. Great-step-grandmother of Madyson, Kaytlyn, Christopher and Colby. Predeceased by her brother Arthur Ratz. In respect of Eleanor's wishes, her body was donated to the University of Toronto for medical science, before being cremated on July 8, 2017. Dear father of Jami Steckley of Parry Sound, Jeff of Midhurst and John of Brampton. Loving grandfather of Nicole, Jacob, Travis, Jesse, Josh and Brianna. Great-grandfather of Madyson & Kaytlyn. Loving stepfather of Jim and Joanne and step grandfather of Malcom and Ashley. Great-step-grandfather of Christopher and Colby. Also survived by his stepmother Norma Steckley of Pennsylvania. Predeceased by sister Miriam Steckley. In respect of Keith's wishes, his body was donated to the University of Toronto for medical science, before being cremated on May 30, 2017.
