It is with deep sorrow that the family of Kelly Audrey Valenticevic (nee Cosgrove) announce her passing on April 24th, 2024 at the age of 59.
Loving daughter of Yvonne Ellen Ridley (nee Crock) (predeceased March 13th, 2024), and Frank Patrick Cosgrove (predeceased July 27th 2006). Stepdaughter of Kenneth Raymond Ridley (predeceased March 11th 2011) and Natalie Cosgrove. Loving wife of William Robert McCron. Beloved and proud Mother of Melissa (Vladimir), Stepmother of Danielle and Cory. Loving Grandmother of Kyla, Djordje and Layla. Loved sister of Lisa, Shawn (Katy) and Tina. Forever remembered by her nieces Courtney, Danielle, Christy and great niece Brynn, her nephews Logan (Megan), Luke, and Dalton.
Kelly’s strength will be a lasting impression on us all, a true inspiration. She battled cancer with dignity and grace, where her hope and courage never waivered. Kelly sadly passed at Hospice Simcoe where she maintained her bravery and humour until the end. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Hospice Simcoe for their overwhelming compassion and support of Kelly and of her family.
Kelly will always be remembered for her beautiful heart. The deep love she had for her family, her many friendships, her pets, and her love of nature. Kelly took pride in her meaningful career as a Personal Support Worker and made an impact on many lives with her care. Kelly will be remembered for her wit and sense of humour, her impressive list of concert attendances, her avid love of music, her giving, caring soul and her gentle spiritual nature. She truly was a gift to all who knew her and loved her.
Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 1 PM until the time of service in the Chapel at 2 PM. A short time of fellowship and light refreshments will follow.
If desired, donations in Kelly’s memory may be made to Hospice Simcoe and are greatly appreciated by the family.
