BAULDRY, Kenneth Owen

Suddenly at home in Barrie September 25, 2014 at the age of 92, in the presence of his wife of 53 years Doreen (Colpitts) Bauldry and daughter Nancy Bauldry(Peter). Sadly missed by son Kelvin Bauldry(Charito), grandchildren Kira Bauldry, BJ and Rebecca Vanderheyden . Survived by his sister Phyllis Hoffman (Fred) and brother Allan (Marilyn) Bauldry. Predeceased by brother David George “Bud” Bauldry and wife Grace, sister Kathleen Bryson and husband Mike, brother Murray Bauldry and wife Gail and infant sister Evelyn. Kenneth served in the RCAF from 1942-45. Ken and his brother “Bud” operated Bauldry's Groceteria in Barrie from 1949 to 1985. Ken will be missed by friends, neighbours and family alike as a kind, gentle man who loved to reminisce over nearly a century of life. A memorial to Ken with relatives and friends will be held at his residence in Barrie on Saturday, October 4, 2014 from 2 pm to 4pm.
