Makray, Laszlo (Les) Istvan. Went home to be with the Lord on Thursday October 8th 2009, peacefully in his 84th year, at his residence following a short, but courageous battle with cancer. Survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Vila, and his loved daughters Maria (Paul) Steckley and Susan (Sheldon) Corey. Predeceased by his only son Leslie in 1974 and brother Zolton Makrai of Hungary. Sadly missed by grandchildren Andrea (Jon), Kristen (Adam), Robert (Britney), and David and great grandchildren Allyssa, Kamaria, Vontavian, Carolina and nephew Zoli Makrai. Special thanks to Dr. Roberts, of Southlake Regional Hospital, Dr. Leifer, C.C.A.C. workers and Home at Last. Visitation will be held at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home 201 Minet’s Point Rd., Barrie on Saturday October 10th from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service to be held at Innisfil Community Church, 1571 Innisfil Beach Road on Sunday, October 11th at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Innisfil Community Church would be appreciated.
