Wilkie, Lawrence-
Went to be with his Lord and Saviour on Saturday, March 17, 2012, peacefully from the Millcreek Care Centre. Lawrence is pre-deceased by his loving and faithful wife Mona, his parents, two siblings, two daughters and daughter-in-law. Here on Earth to celebrate his life are his children Al (Irene) Rodgers, Bill Rodgers, John (Joyce) Rodgers, Glenda (Bill) Holden, Doris Gilbert and Ken Reaburn (Sharon). He will be missed by his 14 grandchildren: Janice, Donald, Debra, Ken Jr., Robby, Tracy, Russell, Donna, Buffy, Jay, Lee, Jennifer, Adam and Danny; and his 34 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at the Salvation Army Church, 151 Lillian Cres. from 12 p.m., until the time of service at 2 p.m. Service of interment in Cobourg Union Cemetery, on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at 1 p.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Salvation Army Barrie Band.
