Peacefully passed in the early morning hours at Hospice Simcoe on Saturday, May 14th, 2022 at the age of 86 years. Beloved husband of Judy (née Willis) for 61 years. Loving father of Nancy (Andrew) Dobson and Greg. Proud Poppa of Georgianna. Predeceased by his parents Bert and Pearl Robertson. Will be missed by extended family members and dear friends.

Lewis was very proud of some of his many accomplishments. He was a lifelong member of the Collier Street United Church, worked for Canada Post for 33 years, 25 as a Night Supervisor, a 50-year member of the Masons, 49-year Scottish Rite and a 43-year member of Sheba Shrine. Among other interests, Lewis was an avid sports fan. You could often find him enjoying a good game of hockey.

A Masonic Service will occur at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie at 10 am with visitation to follow at the Collier St. United Church, 112 Collier St., Barrie on Saturday, May 21st, 2022 at 10:30 am with Funeral Service beginning at 11 am. Reception to follow at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home inside the lower lounge. Interment to follow at the Grenfel Cemetery, 1980 Sunnidale Rd., Grenfel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Collier Street United Church or to the Masonic Barrie Learning Centre and are greatly appreciated by the family. The family would like to thank Dr. Van Zyl and all of the staff at Hospice Simcoe for the amazing care and compassion they showed to Lewis.
