Suddenly on Tuesday April 30th 2013 after battling courageously with Alzheimer’s for 3½ years in her 74th year. Best friend and soul mate of Ray for 52 years. Forever loved by her children Michael (Teresa), Jonathon, James (Jennifer), Stewart, and Stephen (Lori). Proud Grandmother of 11 Grandchildren. Survived by sister Elizabeth Blahey. Predeceased by brother James Spreitzer. Always loved and remembered by nieces, nephews and friends. Lillian had such a great love of life including her hobbies which were knitting, reading, needle point, playing mah-jong, card games and aerobics. Friends and family will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Homes 201 Minet's Point Road, Barrie on Friday May 3rd from 2 to 4 pm. and 7 to 9 pm. A mass of christian burial will be held at St John Vianney Roman Catholic Church 13 Baldwin Lane, Barrie on Saturday May 4th at 11 am. Interment to follow at St. Mary's catholic cemetery.
