It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Mother Lois Margaret Beatty (nee Brown) on December 3, 2024, Royal Victoria Health Care Centre, Barrie, Ont., in her 96th Year. Our Mom left this world surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, strength and unwavering devotion to her Family.
Beloved wife of the late James Eagleson Beatty, cherished Mother of Carol Marie Beatty, Joan Marilyn Gaudet (Terry), Marsha Lois Parliament (Gary), James Garth Beatty, Sharon Ann El Desouky (Khaled). Proud Grandma of 8 grandchildren and Great Grandmother of 16 great grandchildren.
Daughter of the late parents Edward Ray and Elsie Brown. Sister of the late Keitha Beatty and brother Trevor Brown.
Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 1 PM until the time of service at 2 PM. Guests are invited to remain for a reception gathering in the lounge.
In lieu of flowers, the Family kindly request that donations be made to Toronto Sick Children’s Hospital as a way to continue the legacy of giving.
