Jackson, Lois Shirley (nee Campbell)
Peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie on October 30th 2013 in her 81st year. Lois leaves behind her loving family, but her memories and life spirit live on through her son, daughter and grandchildren. Loving and supportive mother of Donny (Catherine), and Darlene Noseworthy. Proud Nana of Jessie, Rebecca, Isabella and Sarah. Survived by her sisters Mildred MacNeil and Susan Simpson. Forever remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Lois will forever be remembered for her generous spirit, positive nature, creativity and youthful energy as she loved everyone and everyone loved her. The family would like to take this opportunity to thank Lloyd Noseworthy for all of his compassionate support and all of the staff and volunteers at the Royal Victoria Hospital for their loving care. Family and friends will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Homes 201 Minet's Point Road, Barrie on Friday November 1st from 2 to 4 pm. and 7 to 9 pm. A celebration of Lois's life will take place in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday November 2nd at 11 am. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Catholic cemetery, Barrie.
