O'Connor, Louis George “Lou”
Peacefully passed away at the Hospice Simcoe on Friday, May 2, 2014 in his 85th year. Lou, beloved husband of the late Jean (nee Fletcher) and long time companion of Edna Hadley. Loving father of Wendy O'Reilly (Stephen) and grandfather of Shawn and Shannon. Predeceased by his brothers Ralph and Jack. Survived by his nieces and nephews. Cremation will be followed by the family receiving friends at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6 – 9 pm. Memorial service in the chapel on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 11 am followed by interment of cremated remains at Barrie Union Cemetery. The family would like to send a special thank you to Dr. Fred Smith, the Doctors and nurses on 3 north B at The Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre and Hospice Simcoe.
