Passed peacefully on Wednesday October 6, 2010 at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie in her 94th year. Predeceased by her husband Harry. Stepmother of Dennis Ockenden (Clair) and Gail Folk (Gord). Close aunt of John (Irene) and Gary (Jan) Strachan and Donna (Tom) Booth. Missed by many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his nephew Jim Strachan (Dorothy) and sisters Grace, Kathleen and Helen, and brothers Jack, Wilf, and Harvie. A memorial service will be held at Heritage Place, 20 Brooks Street, Barrie, on Sunday October 17, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with visiting 1 hour prior to service.
