After a sudden illness, Louise passed peacefully with her family by her side at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre on January 12, 2026 at the age of 73. Predeceased by her parents Mary Anne Julian (nee Taggart) and George Julian, son Courtnay, and sister Dianne. Loving mother to Michelle. Cherished Nana to Cody and Kayleen. Dear sister to Tim, John, Bob (Jacqueline), and Brenda. Will be sadly missed by her 9 nieces and nephews, as well as many long-time friends and associates in the Barrie area.
A celebration of Louise’s life will take place on Thursday, January 22, 2026 from 1 – 3 PM at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie. Words of remembrance to be shared at 1:30 PM.
