ALLISON, Loyes May (nee Ladouceur)
Peacefully at Victoria Village Manor, in her 88th year, on April 22, 2009. Beloved wife of the late Jack and loving mother of Jim (Nancy) of Barrie, Ken (Debbie) of British Columbia, Jack (Linda), Todd (Donna). Special and well dressed Nana to Jamie & Brian, Kristy & Corey, Tyler & Kelsey. More recently Loy enjoyed being part of the Parkview Senior’s Centre and Tollendale Card games. She was a member of the Collier United Street Church. Loy and Jack moved to Barrie from Burlington in retirement. In Burlington, she was an active volunteer in community activities and loved cheering on her boys and grandchildren in all sporting activities. She will be dearly missed by family and her wealth of friends. The family will receive friends at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley Street, Barrie, on Monday from 10 AM until the time of memorial service at 11 o’clock. A private family interment of cremated remains will take place at Barrie Union Cemetery. If desired, in memoriam donations to Hospice Simcoe would be appreciated by the family.
