Peacefully at home on July 17th, 2014, Mabel Batchilder in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her loving husband Aeneas. Sadly missed by her children; Lynn (Jim), Sharon (predeceased by husband Wayne), Wayne (Heather), and Alan. Grandmother of James and Sheri, Rick and Rob, Kelly, Brett and Craig. Great grandmother of 10. Friends and family may call at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley Street, Barrie on Monday July 21st, from 7 – 9pm. A chapel service will be held on Tuesday July 22nd at 1pm, followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, The Alzheimer Society or a charity of your choice, and would be appreciated by the family.
