URRY-APPLETON, Mabel Blanche (nee Montgomery)
Passed away at the Royal Victoria Hospital, in Barrie, on Saturday, September 12, 2009. Mabel Appleton, of Barrie, in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Clifford Frederick Urry and Charles Wilfred Appleton. Dear mother of Joan Margaret Harrison, Sharon Anne Kiernan and the late Walter (Wally) Frederick Urry. Much loved Gramma of 7, great gramma of 18 and great great gramma of 7. Mabel is predeceased by her 6 sisters and 3 brothers; Edith, Mary, Dorothy, Marg, Beatrice, Laura, Alvin, Donald and John. The family will receive friends at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley Street, Barrie, 721-9921, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church, 550 Grove Street East, Barrie, on Wednesday at 11 AM. Interment at Barrie Union Cemetery to follow.
