Brooksbank, Mabel Kennedy (nee Low) Oct 22, 1916 - February 20, 2015 Passed away peacefully at Woods Park Care Centre. Dear mother-in-law to Jennifer, beloved grandmother of Nikki and Jason, proud great-grandmother (GG) of Laurel, cherished sister of Katherine Henry. Predeceased by husband Garnet, son Larry, daughter Jane and sister Jean. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Mabel was born in Scotland and came to Canada at the age of 3. A proud resident of the Chatham-Kent area for many of her 98 years. Spoke fondly and often of her early work with Bell Canada, she was active in the United Church and volunteered with Chatham General Hospital. The family would like to thank the staff and all of Mabel's friends at Woods Park Care Centre and Whispering Pines Residences in Barrie for the life she enjoyed there over the last few years.
