Passed away peacefully at Sara Vista Long-Term Care Home in Elmvale, on January 18, 2025, at the age of 98.
Loving wife to the late John Murphy and mother of Carl Murphy (Marsha), the late Michael Murphy, Peter Murphy (Christina), Kevin Murphy (Debra), Shannon Murphy (Jim), Brian Murphy (Charline), Margaret Higgins (John), and Maureen Owen (Brad).
Cherished grandmother to Kelly (Kevin), Mike (Michelle), Toni (Michael), Jennifer (Eli), Shawn (Serena), Sarah, Matthew (Jamie), Christopher (Allie), Patrick, Dan (Sarah), Ryan (Mieke), Brent (Jennifer), Lindsay (Jamie), Nicole (Mike), Shannon (Joe), Megan, Ivan (Oliwia) and Alora.

Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 10 am until the time of service in the Chapel at 11:30 am. Guests are invited to remain for a reception luncheon in the lounge.
