Peacefully passed away with family by her side at the Matthew’s House Hospice in Alliston on Thursday, October 31st, 2019 at the age of 79. Devoted daughter of the late Hugh and Maude Dunlop. Beloved wife of the late Dr. James Edward “Ted” Parks. Loving mother of Lorraine (John), Charlene (Don), Neil (Christa), Lorna (Rob) and James (Jennifer). Proud grandmother of Candice, Robert, Crystal, Amanda, Chantel, Brittany, Braxton, James, Olivia and the late Bryce. Great grandmother of Nolan, Landon, Diesel, Landen, Gavin and Declan. Predeceased by her siblings Sam, Hugh and Dorothy. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at the Northwest Barrie United Church, 464 Ferndale Dr N., Barrie from 12 p.m. until the time of service at 1:30 p.m. Interment at the Barrie Union Cemetery, 338 Sunnidale Rd., Barrie.
