Margaret Whitefield (formerly Truax) - It is with heavy hearts that the family of Margaret Whitefield announce her sudden passing on Tuesday January 5, 2010 at the age of 78. Margaret is survived by her children Nancy and Rae Redcliffe, and thier children Rob Cole and Patricia Hicks; Eunice and Roy Joplin and their children Tanya and Jay, Larry and Betty Truax, and thier children Shawn and Annette; Murry and Sheryl Truax, and their children Erin and Emma; Peggy and Brian French, and thier children Sara and Gerry; Murry Tapp and Janet Tapp, and thier child Rob; David and Beth Truax, and thier children Holly and Wesley; Clayton Truax and Robin Hargadon, and thier children Conor and Jessica; Rebbeca Truax and David McNamara, and thier child Bryton Swan. As well as step children Greg and Michelle. Her legacy also lives on in seven great-grandchildren. Predeseased by her loving husband Ron and stepdaughter Brenda.

Margaret loved her time volunteering with the Lions Club of Barrie. In lieu of flowers donations to the Georgian College Health and Wellness Campaign (Opticianry Program) would be greatly appreciated. A community project strongly supported by the Lions Club of Barrie.
Margaret's vitality for life will be missed.
