Passed away peacefully at Victoria Village, Barrie on October 16th, 2024 at the age of 77. Beloved wife of Aldonio Da Silva for 58 years. Honoured mother of Aldonio (Teresa) and Paul (Ruthanne). Cherished grandmother of Lexie, Erica, and Brandon.
Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Sunday, October 20th, 2024 from 2 – 4 PM. A graveside service will be held at Barrie Union Cemetery, 338 Sunnidale Rd., Barrie on Monday, October 21st at 11:30 AM.
The family would like to take this opportunity to express their heartfelt appreciation to the staff and volunteers of Victoria Village Long Term Care for their dedicated and compassionate care of Maria since she moved there in 2015.
If desired, donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
