Peacefully in Collingwood surrounded by her family on Wednesday January 30th, 2013 in her 76th year. Predeceased by her husband Frederick McBride and former husband Donald Kirby. Much loved mother of Elizabeth Connolly (Mark), and Scott Kirby (Aga). Proud grandmother of David and Nicole. Survived by brothers and sisters, Gerald (Barb), Roger (Adele), Rosemary Dupuis (Peter), James (Arlene), Paul (Jean), Leo (Teresa), and Joanne Lambert (Ross). Predeceased by her parents James and Madeline McBride and sister Madlyn McBride. Sadly missed by many other family members and dear friends. Family and friends will be received at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM Funeral Home 30 Worsley Street Barrie, on Sunday February 3rd from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will take place at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 65 Amelia Street Barrie, on Monday February 4th, 2013 at 10:00 am. Cremation to follow.
