Passed away suddenly at home on Monday, June 8, 2020. Predeceased by her parents Elgin and Jane Douglas (nee Adams). Dear mother of Douglas (Melissa), and Laura (Charles). Loving grandmother of Elroy and Audrey, dearly loved by Shirley Evans, (Gary) and niece Brittany, deeply missed by her best friend of more than 60 years, Ruthi Hamel, (Dave) and Shannan. Marilyn will be remembered for her sense of kindness toward family and friends and will always be in their hearts. In keeping with Marilyn’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie.
