We are sad to announce the peaceful passing of Marilyn Shute (née Burtt) on April 28, 2022. Marilyn lived a long fulfilling life surrounded by all of her living daughters: Sheryl Wanamaker, Debra Dormer, Wendy Coulson and Tanya Shute along with their spouses. Widowed in October 2001 from the love of her life, James A. Shute, may he rest in peace. Marilyn also suffered the loss of her dear brother, Robert Burtt and loving sister, Barbara Vetsos. Marilyn was blessed to be grandmother to Jennifer Saxton, Lindsay Dormer, Steve Coulson and Zachary Coulson. She’s also survived by her great grandchildren Jackson and Mason Saxton and Mortekai Coulson. For all of us who remain; we are comforted with the knowledge that Marilyn was her dynamic, funny, tender-hearted and fiery self until the very end. Her family finds peace knowing Marilyn will be reunited with her husband and siblings once again.
