It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear Mom, Marjorie Elsie Reed (nee Gallienne)on July 28, 2010 at the age of 86. Marjorie is survived by her 3 girls, Lyn Lawrence of Barrie, Donna Reed (Mike Jansen) of Innisfil and Janice Waddington (Jamie Henry) of Barrie. Dear Grandma of Scott Fitchett of Angus, Jason Fitchett of Barrie and Jenna Lynn Fitchett of Ottawa. Marge is also survived by her brother Tom Galliene and his wife Christina of Whitby and her sister-in-law Rita Gallienne of Whitby. Fondly remembered by Garry Fitchett, Peter Lawrence, Elsie Rankin and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Peter Charles Reed, her parents Walter and Anne Gallienne, her brother Bert Gallienne and her sister Barbara Bennett. We would like to thank Father Brian, Father Andrew and Reverend Paul for their ministry. Thanks to the ladies from VON…Nancy, you became a friend …and the folks from Red Cross for their help in caring for Mom over the years. Many thanks to the nurses and staff at the I.O.O.F. nursing home for their loving and compassionate care and to Dr. Poonja and Mary Lou for their guidance and help at a very difficult time. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet’s Point Road in Barrie. Visitation on Friday, August 6th, 7 - 9pm and memorial service at Trinity Anglican Church, 24 Collier Street, Barrie on Saturday, August 7th at 2pm.
