Cox, Mary Hazel (nee Garrett)
Mary in her 91st year, a resident of Mill Creek Care Centre, Barrie passed away on Monday, July 28, 2014. Born in Brantford on February 20, 1924, she was the daughter of Frederick William Garrett and Hattie Kathleen Crandell. Dear mother of Fred Cox of Midhurst (Stephanie); John Cox of Barrie (Roberta); William Cox of Dunchurch (Marnie) and Janice Lamarche of Barrie (John); sister-in-law of Sadie Garrett of Florida (Alex). Loving grandmother of seven and great-grandmother of seventeen. Family and friends will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Thursday, July 31 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm and on Friday, August 1 from 10 am until time of funeral service in the chapel at 11 am.
