WASE, Mary Fielding (Retired Teacher, Barrie Central Collegiate)
Peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family at Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, December 14 in her 78th year. Dear sister of Barbara and the late David Wase of Townsend, Ontario. Loved aunt of Mike and Dorothy Wase of St Agatha, Ann and Ron Lickers of Cheapside, Sue and Paul Montgomery of London. Loving "Mairney" of Morgan and Chanel Wase, Mike, Amanda and Sammy Lickers, Blake, Mae, Nicole and Mathew Montgomery. Mary was a dedicated teacher, and in her long fulfilling retirement was a willing and diligent volunteer in her church and many community activities. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends. Mary will also be remembered for her great love of music and her wonderful trips to interesting parts of the world. Friends may call at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, (30 Worsley St.), Barrie, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm on Monday, December 20. A Service of Remembrance will be held at Trinity Anglican Church, 24 Collier Street, Barrie, on Tuesday, December 21 at 11:00 am.
