Passed away peacefully at the Victoria Village Manor, Barrie on Thursday, June 10th, 2021 at the age of 92 years. She was predeceased by her loving husband Thomas Owen “Ozzie” Flynn. Dear mother of Catharine Marley (Paul), Louise Smith (Michael) all of Barrie and Barbara Flynn (Buzz Carroll) of Collingwood. Loved Nana of Leigh Anne Marley (Marc Masson), Jennifer Marley (Gilbert Kuiper), Scott Marley (Laura) Chris Smith (Jody Becker) and Leah Size (Chris). Great grandma of Ella, Lauren, Carsten, Ryan, Ethan, Owen, Liam, Kate, Emily and Isabelle. Dear sister of Lorne Williams (late Mary) of Barrie.
May was a Manager of Operator Services at Bell Canada, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion, Barrie, a member of St. Mary’s C.W.L and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Dr.J.F.Strangway for his dedicated care over the years, Dr. Kim McKenzie, Dr. Michael McConvey and the wonderful staff of Victoria Village LTC Manor.
Funeral Mass will be held at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 65 Amelia St., Barrie on Friday, June 18th, 2021 at 10 am. Private family interment to follow at the St. Mary’s Cemetery, 208 Sunnidale Rd., Barrie.
