Born to Ann and Robert Buntin in Dundee, Scotland. Predeceased by her beloved husband Eric and her precious “Mingy”. Also predeceased by dear brother Robert. Mary leaves wonderful sister, Nancy Thomson (Bill), niece Fiona and nephews Stuart (Nancy), Douglas (Margaret) and their families. Daughter Angela Bell (Fred) and son Scott (Karen), grandsons Gavin (Leigh), and Cameron (Anita). Great granddaughters Josie, and Elise. Mary was an avid reader, loved Scottish country dancing and enjoyed landscape painting. She was a Red Cross Nurse in W.W.II, immigrated to Canada so Eric could work on the “Avro Arrow”. Long time employee of Sears Canada, Mary also volunteered for years at Royal Victoria Hospital (Barrie). Our thanks to Dr. Gan and his team, medical, palliative and pain management teams at L.H.S.C. also, to CCAC and St. Elizabeth's, and to all who ensured that mom could have the best quality of life in her final journey. Mom has requested a graveside service and interment next to Eric at Barrie Union Cemetery on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 11:00 am. If you wish, donations may be made in memory of Mary to Sick Kids' Hospital, Toronto or the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada, Guelph. Condolences and memories may be left at www.steckleygooderham.com
