In the arms of her loving four children, peacefully passed at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie on Wednesday, June 26th, 2024 at the age of 90 years. Beloved wife of Stuart “Stu” Keller for 70 years. Loving mother of Carol (John) Brinkman, Kathy (Douglas) Robbins, Paul (Michelle) Keller and Brian Keller (Kerri-Lynn McKenzie). Proud grandmother of Rachel Saltzman, Jason Brinkman, Justine Keller, Kaitlyn Keller, Nathan Keller and great grandmother of Oren Saltzman, Linden Saltzman, Hendrick Sabin and Elora Jane Sabin. Will be sadly missed by extended family members and many dear friends.
Mary Jane (Jane) was always involved with family, friends, and community in all of the places she lived: Chatham, South Porcupine, Elliot Lake, Manitoulin Island, Port Lambton, Port Dover, and lastly Barrie. Her beautiful soprano voice was treasured by all as she sang for family, friends, her church, and finally fellow residents in her retirement home. Jane had a brilliant mind and became highly accomplished in many hobbies. She was also a master of record keeping, accounting, cryptograms, crossword puzzles, Sudoku, and jigsaw puzzles.
In keeping with Mary Jane’s wishes cremation has taken place. Arrangements are entrusted to the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie. Memorial donations made to the Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County or to Breast Cancer Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.
