Mary Jane Paterson (nee Chinery)
Peacefully at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie on Sunday September 22, 2024. Beloved wife of Ross, sister to Bill Chinery and Elizabeth Piersanti. Stepsister to Melanie Herman, Mary Booth, and Connie Gabriel.
Mary Jane (MJ) will be remembered for her love of flowers and gardening. She had a deep knowledge of plants and puttering around in her gardens always re-energized her. She was also a keen golfer and was Director of Rules for Ontario. MJ will also be remembered for her love of Old English Sheepdogs.
If desired, as an expression of sympathy, donations made to Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre or Toronto General Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
A private memorial will be held, with arrangements entrusted to the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie.
