Peacefully passed at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre on Friday, May 31, 2024, at the age of 77. Beloved wife of Donald Young for 54 years. Loving mother of Kevin (Laurie), Brian (Jacki) and Jessica (Greg). Proud grandmother of Sarah (Michael), Leah, Benjamin, Samuel, Emily, Kayla and Allison. Predeceased by her parents George and Janet Maxwell. Will be sadly missed by extended family members and many dear friends.
Known as Jane to all, she was a graduate of the Toronto General Hospital School of Nursing. She was devoted to her family who knew they could always count on her practical, moral and prayerful support. She was faithful to her church which, for 50 years was Knox Presbyterian Church, Toronto, and latterly, Ivy Presbyterian. Above all she was dedicated to her Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, with whom she is now at peace.

Visitation will take place at the Ivy Presbyterian Church, 5067 20th Sideroad., Thornton on Thursday, June 6th, 2024 from 10 am until the time of Service at 11 am. Interment to immediately follow at the Ivy Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Guests are invited to remain following the interment for a reception gathering inside the Church. In memory of Jane and in lieu of flowers, donations to Samaritans Purse or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
