MURPHY, Mary Kathleen “Kay” (nee Flynn)
June 3, 1948 – July 1, 2013.
It is with great sorrow and sadness that we regretfully announce the passing of Kay. She died of head injuries sustained in a fall. Beloved wife of Dan Murphy.
She was the loving sister of Frances (sister) & Jack Besser, the late Evelyn (sister) & the late Bill Codlin, Elizabeth (sister) & the late Matt Styba, William (brother) & Muriel Flynn, Gertrude (sister) & Frank Donaher, Joseph (brother) & Patricia Flynn, Thomas (brother) & Thersa Flynn and the late Aloyouis (brother) & Maura Flynn. A dear daughter in law of Theresa Murphy and beloved sister in law of Paul, Terry, Susan, Nancy and Sean. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Kay had an exuberant personality that allowed her to walk into a room full of strangers and within minutes be involved in conversion. Her infectious smile and laughter were magnates that drew people to her without reservation.
Friends and family will be received at the Steckley Gooderham Funeral Home on Thursday July 4, 2013 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral mass will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Friday July 5, 2013 at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
