It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Mary MacLellan at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre on August 1st, 2020 at the age of 83. Beloved wife and long time dancing partner of the late Deacon Peter MacLellan. Loving mother of Alex (Amy) and grandmother of Kieran and Cillian (predeceased). Predeceased by her sisters Isabel and Shirley.
Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Monday, August 10th, 2020 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., with service being held on Tuesday, August 11th at 10 a.m., St. Mary’s Parish, 65 Amelia St., Barrie, and interment to follow at St. Mary’s cemetery, Barrie. If desired, donations to the Canadian Wildlife Federation, Stevenson Memorial Hospital or the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family. Please note that due to Covid19 restrictions, facial coverings, physical distancing and attendance limitations within the funeral home are mandatory.
